Physiotherapy Gels

Elcorapan Gel

Elcorapan Gel

A contact medium for various physiotherapeutic operations. The gel contains Rapan salt — a highly mineralized solution of salts from a certified unique organic deposit of theurapeutic mud in a Siberian forest-steppe region. Thanks to this component, the gel possesses pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and regeneration-boosting properties. Recommended for external application, phonophoresis and electrotherapy using established methods.

Specific conductivity: 1.0 - 3.0 S/m
Viscosity: Brookfield 9.0–13.0 Pa•s (equivalent viscosity 5.0–7.0 Pa•s at a shear rate of (16.8±0.3)s-1)
pH: 6.7-7.5
Shelf life: 2 years

The gel serves as an effective contact medium for ultrasound transmission and physiotherapy, laser and photocosmetology when using domestic or imported equipment. The gel is applied directly to the transducer or the patient's body, is easy to spread over the skin, does not smear, dries up slowly, ensuring a lasting sliding effect and a full contact between the transducer and the patient's body, and does not dry up during prolonged physiotherapeutic procedures. After completing the transmission, the gel is easily removed with a tissue or rinsed off with water. The gel does not stain clothes, cause allergy or damage the transducers, and is water-soluble.
